Wed: One of the busier day of the week. Finally something to do. Lol. Morning was usual, at home. Watched TV, breakfast, snacksnack, bathe, baby came over from camp despite being all busy. schweeet! =)
Debbie (my new housemaid for about a month now) cooked lunch for us. Mummy came home to join us after sending dad to golf at Warren Country Club. But he and his kakis diverted to Raffles Country Club because Warren's course closed for the day due to lightning at its close proximity. There's just this thing about golfers, when you are geared to play, die die also must find a place to play the 18holes, if not 9 holes. lol. Golf golf, one of my favourite sport, but i hardly play these days cos lack of kakis. cant expect me to play with the boys all the time.
my professional footballer will soon get his license to play with me yes?

Mummy and baby both left for their commitments and there i am, left alone again. =(
got changed and headed to post office. Reag forgotten to bring some stuff and since he's gonna be there for more than a month, somethings just cant wait. got it air-mailed. did some random shopping, got two pairs of shoes! both at just $9.90 each. what a steal! lol.
new work, new shoes! hahaha.
headed to school (UniSIM) to submit some documents for my part time studies that's gonna happen next sem.
anyhow, wanted to go town to shop more after the trip to school but i decided to help my parents to feed the fishes at my old house and collect the letters. soon i wont have to head back and forth to feed the fishes again, ewest weast sheesh, cos daddy's agent found a new tenant. he prolly put the fishes to their care. wee!
Anyway, since i was headed to east, i decided to pop by schenker to visit angieloves, matthew, may and jac, and the whole schenker family i once worked for. =)
its good to feel the presence of angie after almost 2 weeks. finally get to really laugh-out-loud! haha. went up to the office. my heart felt the warmth. every familiar faces. especially bernard the daddy of schenker who's served the company for donkey years. hmm, maybe i didnt really have the luxury of a grandpa's love since a kid, and so he come across as someone dear to me like a grandpa when i was working there almost two years back, as intern as well as permanent staff.
and today, he reminded me of the nickname, sugar. lol. i was given the nick sugar then cos he thinks i'm always smiling. lol. and he used to have this joke "hey sugar, how's the sugar factory doing?" or "hey sugar, your ancestor owns a sugar factory?" each and every time he passes my desk. lol. he's just this really humourous ah gong. some other nicks given by him to the other staffs are candy, naima, ganma, many many more. lol. that's one thing i missed after leaving schenker, and of cos my very good boss, matthew who've helped me with my first step in the business world. thinking back, i wouldnt be what i am if not for him. as much as my dad's running his own business, i would be still living under his wings if not for matthew. i recalled once over coffee at tiong bahru shpg centre, he encouraged me to learn as much as possible and not depend on anyone. he said, while you can as a freshgrad, pick up every skills you can. even if it means doing more than what you are paid for. and i believe the last line meant alot. cos the more you do, the better you are at it, and most of the time, when you do more, you meet with different challenges which can help you to learn from it. perserverance, discipline and good atitude is my way of achieving success for now. my mentor, thats matthew, someone i know i can seek help when it comes to affairs of the work.
headed back to west to meet baby for dinner at bukit timah.
