the seminar notes/ more seminar application forms from sim/ the tired face

i dreaded waking up this morning!! cos i had to attend a seminar on behalf of my dad as he had a meeting and couldnt make it. the seminar was on employment act. and guess what? he was my lecturer for employment relations back in sch, Mr Chia Boon Cher. sheesh. dreaded his lessons then. i guess most of my uni friends knows who i'm talking about... the one who looks like derek!!! Lol. hehs. anyhow, the drive there was torturing i was thinking of ways to leave early even before i reach. haha. but somehow, after attending the talk, meeting new peeps and all. i realised it's not that bad after all and wouldnt mind attending more seminars. met a few lady managers. chatted away. i was surprised how these high post ladies presented themselves. they were the most humble lot. talking to you stuffs about shopping, new year preparations, mani/pedicure, fashion and stuffs. anyhow, i made 3 new friends today (on behalf of my dad, he calls it networking). exchanged cards with them. not exactly my card, but some of my dad's sales managers' card. i gave them out randomly, like giving flyers lor. haha.

headed keppel for lunch since its so near. then met charlene (weiliang's gf) there. we chatted for abit. really one easy girl to talk to. no airs whatsoever. nice! =) and she's generous in sharing good deals. went town to get some stuffs before heading to meet my parents to view the new house. YES! i'm moving, most likely! if all goes well, i'm moving to cashew terrace. 5mins away from school, 7mins away from jer's!!!!! 15mins away from town! woohoo~! got alotta minor renovations to do though. like painting and wiring and the toilets and all. i'm happy yet sad. cos most my sweeties stay east.. no more late night MJ, no more late night chats over my place. but then again, i'll have new westside homies to hang out - michelle/karen/char/zhiwen/matty. . . here i come!!! =D

headed to railway mall for ramen with my parents and uncle roland. food was ok, but company was goooooood. its been a while hanging out dinner proper with my parents. loved. went separate ways after eating. met baby at his place, feels all good to see him after one long day. you brighten up my err night. haha. muackz.

anyhow, being so free now, i've looked up a whole list of seminars/workshop to attend. so far i've signed up for about 5 workshops/talks org by sim thats gonna for the month of jan and feb - influence mastery/ effective interviewing skills/ starting right/ the wine appreciation journey/ networking for success. so looking forward. =)
